The story of the viewing window: it began on a fishing trip
How a conversation between father and son became the world's first pressure cooker with a viewing window, with over 5 million sold.
Ever noticed how the best ideas come from the simplest moments? That's how MTA's viewing window came about.
A question in the middle of a fishing trip
On a quiet day between fishing trips, MTA founder Antonio Froza was swapping stories with his father. They talked about what really matters: faith, family, work and real food. In the middle of the conversation came the question: what if there were a pressure cooker that was easier, safer, and let you see what's going on inside?
More than five years of development
Driven by a wish to make everyday life easier, Antonio spent more than five years on an unprecedented innovation: the first pressure cooker with a clear viewing window. A window smaller than the lid, but big enough to show what matters: your food cooking safely, right before your eyes.
“The biggest revolution in the history of pressure cookers was the viewing window.” Antonio Froza, CEO of MTA
Patented and award-winning
The viewing-window pressure cooker was developed and patented by MTA after years of engineering and testing. Today there are over 5 million of them around the world, and MTA won the 11th House & Gift Design Award.
