Who we are

This site belongs to MTA, a cookware manufacturer headquartered at Av. Dambros e Piva, 1105, Centro, Marmeleiro (PR), Brazil, ZIP 85615-000. Legal name: MTA Indústria e Comércio de Utilidades Domésticas. CNPJ (Brazilian company ID): 85.478.857/0001-74.

This policy explains what personal data may be processed when you use this site or contact us, what it's used for and how to exercise your rights, under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13.709/2018).

What we collect when you browse

This site has no sign-up, login or forms. You don't need to provide any personal data to browse it.

Cookies and measurement tools

Cookies and browser storage are small files the site leaves on your device. This site uses two kinds:

You can change your choice at any time under "Cookie preferences", in the footer of every page. While no measurement tool is turned on, the notice says the site doesn't use those cookies.

When you contact us

When you open a support ticket, send an email or call, you provide data such as your name, contact details and information about your purchase or product. We use that data to respond and resolve your request, and to meet legal obligations, such as those of Brazil's Consumer Protection Code.

In the MTA.i chat, what you type is sent to an artificial intelligence service to generate the reply. Conversations are kept for 90 days so the MTA team can review them and improve support; emails, phone numbers and CPF numbers typed in the chat are masked before being stored, and the conversation isn't linked to your name. Don't type personal data in the chat; for your specific case, use WhatsApp or customer service. When you open the chat, an automatic Cloudflare check (Turnstile) confirms that a person, not a program, is using it, to prevent abuse; it doesn't use advertising cookies.

Sharing

MTA does not sell personal data. Data may be processed by suppliers that help us run the site and customer service (for example, hosting and the support ticket system), only for those purposes, or shared with authorities when required by law.

How long we keep data

For as long as needed to complete the service and meet legal and regulatory obligations. After that, the data is deleted or anonymized.

Your rights

Under Brazil's LGPD, you can ask MTA at any time for:

Data protection officer (DPO)
