Window in the lid or Visor Duplo: what's the difference?
One shows how the cooking is going, the other the water level. The new Visor Duplo has both.
Visor line pressure cookers have the window in the lid. The new MTA Visor Duplo Pressure Cooker adds a second window on the side of the body. Each one answers a different question.
Window in the lid: “is it done yet?”
From above, you follow the cooking in real time. It's the window for getting recipes just right without interrupting the cooking.
The second window: “is there still water?”
The level is at eye height. No need to open the pot or lean over the steam to check the water.
Both are safe
The windows are tempered glass that withstands high temperatures. Inspired by how submarine portholes work, MTA uses a silicone gasket that seals and holds the high-strength glass.
